Meet Sprinkles Cocoa-puff Stembridge. Gar got her "for me" for my birthday on the 6th. But he is pretty much smitten by her and I'm pretty sure it was just a good excuse to get this little love muffin.

So for some reason she looks super big in photos and they do not do her any justice at all. She is a MILLION times cuter in person. Really I promise. and she is tiny. only about 2 pounds. She is so dark it's kind of hard to see her in the pics, but it's the best we've got so far. We pretty much love her to pieces; she is the smartest, sweetest, sassiest!!!, little fluff ball ever. Come meet her!

Excuse my camera rat face. The little terror had left me with less than 2 hours of sleep the first night and it shows!

The other Doogies are her boyfriends, Chincey and Max. They thought she was a cat at first and it wasn't pretty, but they warmed up...sort of. :) Karis and Lanky, we're sorry we never cleaned up the poop off your lawn! :(

Hair-raising help!

So...I'm at that point. That point where you kind of hate your hair but don't have a clue what to do with it.

Winter dries my hair out so bad and makes it so static-y. anyone else have this problem?

I have no body and my hair is just so...blah.

Help!

Can someone recommend some awesome shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair silky and moisture-ized with volume and...umph?!?!

How about some products that help with volume, a good root booster?

Help people, I need some serious hair ideas or I might do something drastic I'll regret. :( haha.

It has taken me WAY too long. and there was LOTS to learn. Especially out of the classroom; but it was an amazing (_) years. College was definitely my best schooling years. I'm especially grateful for the many amazing people I met along the way. GO COUGS! haha.

Extremely happy to be with this handsome man ALL weekend!
Our weekend started out with a whole night of country- Julianne Hough, Blake Shelton, and then THE KING, George Strait, according to the handsome man of course. I'm not much of a country fan myself, but we had a blast rockin' with all the rednecks at Usana last night. I even got to laugh my head off as one drunk lady did a cart wheel and kicked some poor drunk dude in the head which made him head butt his girlfriend. I'm still laughing.
Can't wait for more fun this weekend! How will you be weekending?

The girlS (yes two of them) sharing the dressing room next to me shared this awesome little tid bit with, basically the whole dressing room, and especially me. oh to be in high school again... NOT.

Girl 1: So, do you like it? The shirt?

Girl 2: Yea, well, what do you think?

Girl 1: it's cute...

Girl 2: yea, well, I mean, member' that one time when we just wanted to be really big ho's? Well this could just be like one of those times, we'll both be just like, really big ho's for the day. It will be WAY fun!

This darling girl and I have been friends for like....a really long time. Since we was itty bitty's...or so.

in fact, i just dug up about a million old old old pics of us when my mother made me clean out my old room. a flood of mischievous memories ensued.

She's is pretty much the only girl I trust with my hair. Really she's amazing. And she puts up with my constant reschedules (I'm kind of really bad at making set plans).

My favorite thing about sitting in her chair with her scissors ready to attack? Well, I never have to know exactly what I want, I just give her ideas I have and know that she will undoubtedly leave me looking better than when I came in. She pushes my hair limits, and trust me I have lots of them, I've basically had the same hair...forever. That is priceless friends. It's like she has a vision for your hair. :) ha. sometimes I think she'd really take joy in chopping mine all off, but she doesn't, cuz she knows I'm a scaredy-cat and I'd die.

Some things i never blog about

So these are from a trillion years ago but I think I'll start blogging about some things we have done in the last...ok, ok, like year. But if you know me at all, you know I am quite often late, I guess it spills into my blogging too. :)

Gar on a basketball team with his buddies this winter so I got to watch his hot skills once a week and hang with the girls. It was really fun. And they played at good ole' centennial so I got to reminisce about the middle school days every week two. YEA RIGHT! I've blocked those memories out! :) it was kinda trippy to go back there.

I really like feet... NO i don't but I do like shoes. ALOT.

I am so very excited because my lovely aunt Suzy (Gar's lovely mother's adorable sister) just called and ask if I would do some bridal pictures for her!!! It is so wonderful to be related to such talented people! I'm pumped. Hopefully I'll be able to put a couple on here. Check her mad skills out here. 

Gone FISHIN' ! ! !

My awesome wife cast her pole all by herself and hooked and landed the fish! It was so freaking sexy and as a fisherman husband I was so FREAKING proud! Unfortunately when I tried to help her land the hook, the hook came out of the fishes mouth when it was on shore. As it started flipping towards the water we both dove for it. I grabbed the fish before it went into the water, Em grabbed the hook. Luckily it wasn't set too deeply into her thumb.

Our awesome friends Holly and Stetson came with us. We're super bummed because they just left for Arizona until September. He got recruited by the LA Dodgers for baseball and will be playing in their rookie league all summer. We're super stoked for them but are going to miss them.

It was a successful day. We caught 4 cutthroats all over 18 inches. We kept two of them and had an amazing, yummy dinner.
